Recent Events
In the past couple of days, an event occur in the Middle East, specifically in Iran, where the Iranian government launched their first space ship, to help them with the weather and see the geography of their land, and other peaceful projects. This act made the west unpleaset with the fact that Iran is actually improving, and trying to be a better country. why would France disagree with Iranian idea of development, while they have space ships that carries rockets. Also America, why do justify your act as peaceful acts, even though the acts that america takes most of the are not peaceful, who are they to tell another nation, what they can or can't have in their own land, America was established under the name of freedom. the dream land where everyone gets a chance.

Countries like ours and France are scared of countries advancing because countries like Iran tend to house terrorist and they are scared what they could do if they have intelligence and weapons like ours.
ReplyDeletecorrect me if I'm wrong, but you actually giving your government the right to own such a weapons to scare every other country, but at the same time you think it's not another country is right to try to develop themseleves.
ReplyDeleteBeing an American I actually agree that we take our power a little far. We are not the World Army we are the United States. BUT from past events like 9/11 we are weary of Middle Eastern countries, not to say it is right but thats how it is. The United States Government stereotypes all Middle Eastern countries to be terrorist.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that a blog about Iran sending up a harmless space craft to monitor "weather, see the geography of their land" and aid in "other peaceful projects" has turned into a completely different discussion over America's policy regarding nuclear weapons.
ReplyDeleteI think is is very relevant and should be noted that America has a turbulent history with Iran--in fact, Iran does not recognize the United States (does not maintain diplomatic relations. The UN Security Council has gone so far as to place military sanctions against Iran, moves that indicate that countries other than the United States are concerned over Iran's military motives.
I also think it is important to distinguish between the American government and the American people/news media. The American government can't "stereotype" nations as terrorist--it is simply not in its best interest to do so. The perception of Middle Eastern countries by the American people is a different story, characterized by ignorance and misinformation.
do you think, if the American government keep doing and making their own citizens believes that the Middle Eastern countries are defined as terrorist countries, would help the situation, and why don't you say this the way it is, and let them be as any other nation, under they own government, before you difene anyone as a terrorist or a good citizen, look through the history.
ReplyDeleteIts great news for Iran that they've launched their first space craft. In my eye any country that is trying to advance their technology such as a space program for the benefit of science and mankind should be proclaimed and helped by other nations. Surly the birth of new space shuttles to benefit people should be looked at as a symbol for a nation making an effort to advance themselves for the purpose of helping others. In a perfect world, the creation of any new helpful advances in science and technology will be looked at and praised as unifiable and mutual gain.
